Chocolate Peppermint Krispies

It's almost the big day, everyone! Christmas is quickly approaching and families are gathering close. And what better way to bring in the holiday than with something sweet and super tasty to serve alongside a warm cup of coffee than a rice krispie treat covered in gooey chocolate and crumbly peppermint Andes?

It's easy to make, not healthy what-so-ever, and perfect for your time of indulgence this holiday season! Because it's Christmas, people! Eat, drink, and be merry!

Chocolate Dipped Peppermint Patty Rice Krispie Treats

1. 4 tbs (1/2 stick) margarine/unsalted butter
2. 10 oz bag of mini marshmallows
3. 8 cups of Rice Krisipies cereal

Line baking dish with parchment paper. Combine butter and marshmallows in microwave safe bowl. Warm in intervals of 10-20 seconds. In separate large bowl pour in Rice Krispies Cereal. Combine with melted marshmallows. Spread in dish and let cool.

4. 1 stick margarine/unsalted butter
5. 8 ounces semisweet chocolate chips
6. 2 tbs honey
7. Andes peppermint candies- soft cream

Combine above ingredients and melt in microwave safe bowl until glossy. (4 *20sec* intervals) spoon and coat top of krispies. Sprinkle peppermint candies on top of chocolate. Let cool. Cut and enter paradise.
