Kiss or Diss: Week of May 17

One of my favorite Wedding Photography Bloggers, Jasmine Star, got me hooked on her blogging style. Her honesty, the intrigue of her experiences with a wide variety of people, and her sincere passion and joy in anything she does makes her inner beauty radiate brighter than anyone else I've come to know.

So, when Jasmine puts out her "Kiss or Diss" segments on her blog, I can't help but want to also create my own list of Kiss or Diss from my week of experiences. Up til now, they've remained in my head, but I thought it would be fun to post them on here periodically to give little insight into my life... Enjoy!



Thunderstorms at wee hours of the morning. You're beautiful, but not from behind my eyelids


Ants, in my Kitchen. You little creatures, you. You are so majestic, but please don't be so in my peanut butter and honey!


Sunburns. They hurt. I'm sure you can relate, anyone who's human would know, they are no fun.


Job Searching. Its nice having a job, and even though it may become tedious at times, its comforting knowing you have some income. But, with so many options coming my way, this can only become a *kiss*




Cooking Out with a New Roommate. This week, we've had two cookouts, fully equipped with Old Bay Wings, Boca Burgers, and baked beans. Don't forget the starry nights, sweet treats for dessert, and amazing friends to share it all with.


Getting Sunburnt. Yes I know, it was a Diss, but when it gets dark and you lay down in bed, something about warm, pink cheeks makes me feel so accomplished and beautiful.


Taking a summer class and actually enjoying it. My professor is hilarious, the material is interesting, and I'm one step closer to graduating next year! Yes, all wonderful things.


Talking to a friend I haven't talked to in a while. And i don't just mean a text, or a brief online chat. I mean hearing his voice, and genuinely finding out how he's been. My past is so rich with amazing people.


Bike Shopping. Getting my first hybrid road/terrain bike this weekend. I am so ready for some riding!


Surf session with a good friend. Great waves, good company, and plenty of laughable wipe outs. I love living here for the summer.


Girls Night with a chick flick and candy. Need I say more?
