Praying Audaciously!

Have you ever read Steven Furtick's (Pastor of Elevation Church in Charlotte, NC) book,
SUN STAND STILL

It's nothing short of inspiring, self-challenging, motivational, and awakening.

One main topic of this book is the ability to think, act, and pray with audacious courage.
Audacious–adjective
extremely bold or daring; recklessly brave; fearless

I feel like this is something God has put on my heart lately, that I am praying the same way, the same mundane prayers and not challenging my faith and trust in all the God can do in my own life...
So just in the past two weeks, I've been focusing my prayers not only on what tomorrow brings, or the simple good day/bad day aspects of life...
But praying audacious prayers for others and asking God, the creator of our universe, the decider of fates and the narrator of every individual life, to instill in me just how powerful prayer can be.
And I will share just a few of those prayers and some answers I've already seen come to play in my life...
1. Praying for our College Life Group, for the people who wish to join us, and for all we can achieve. Last night was our first meeting, and I was expecting maybe 10-12 people. But God provided us with close to 20 people wanting to share their lives with one another and all that God is doing with our lives. Awesome, right?
2. Praying for my mom to return to normalcy, to fight these difficulties that may have been planted in her life just in the past few months. Praying for her to achieve normalcy, happiness, optimism and hope for winning the battle of any medical troubles that did (and may) trouble her. She heads home today from rehab, sounding stronger, more optimistic, and faith driven than ever.

Hope everyone is having a great Tuesday!

And remember to always pray- With Audacious Faith
