Girls Just Want To Have (Holiday) Fun!

For some of us, throwing an Unforgettable Christmas Party automatically means one thing...
KA-CHING!
MONEY, MONEY, MONEY! (That we may not necessarily have)
But it doesn't have to!

Searching through online websites and (girly) holiday magazine editions, I found your answer!
Take these simple tips and turn your next holiday party into one to remember until NEXT Christmas!

Make it Cozy and Comfy

  • Set up a coffee bar to accompany an assortment of cakes, cookies, cupcakes and other decadent treats.
  • For the coffee bar, start with freshly brewed coffee (regular and decaf).
  • Add hot chocolate for non-coffee drinkers as well as a supply of flavored creamers and liqueurs to encourage creative mixing.

Get Your Guests Involved
  • Tell your friends to bring a small gift (Set a limit $5-$10) that everyone would like
  • Take those gifts, put numbers on them, then during the party, have a bowl with corresponding numbers. Have your guests pick a number at random and enjoy their simple yet thoughtful gift they get to take home.
  • Also, encourage them to bring their favorite cookies or desserts to accompany your coffee bar creations
  • Tell them to bring their favorite Christmas Movies. Once all have arrived, have everyone vote on which movie they'd like to watch (1 rule: They can't choose their own)
Decorate on a Dime
  • Light same smell (or no smell to prevent scent mixing problems) to add a festive light and scent
  • Find a local radio station or a previously purchased christmas album and have it loop throughout the evening.
  • Hang any wreaths, ribbons, and flowers you may have from previous years decorations. Not many to choose from? Check out your local dollar stores for inexpensive festive decor
  • Don't forget any christmas lights you may have sitting around. Outline the main room or the food table.
Hope these easy little ideas help! Merry Christmas Party Planning, Lovelies!
